Powered ‘Til 26 offers FREE Medicaid coverage for former foster youth in Hawai‘i—no income limits, no asset checks, just support. If you were in foster care, adopted, or in legal guardianship after age 16 in Hawai‘i and you’re under 26, you may qualify. Applying is easy—online, by phone, or in person—just be sure to mention your foster care experience. This coverage gives you access to doctors, therapists, and peace of mind as you build your future.

If you are eligible and would like to apply: 

• Apply by PHONE (Call 1-877-628-5076)
• Apply ONLINE  now at www.mybenefits.hawaii.gov 
  • Be sure to to check "YES" when asked if you were in foster care at age 18 or older in Hawaiʻi. 
• Apply IN-PERSON  at any Med-Quest office in Hawaiʻi 
  • Be sure to say you are a FORMER FOSTER YOUTH when applying in person.
